Applications Open for New Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary Roles

Due to the growth and development of FST, we have created two roles, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, to join the new Executive Committee. Applications close Friday 6 July 2018. Honorary Secretary

The Faculty of Surgical Trainers has developed into a leading voice in surgical education and training. Due to this development and expansion we have recently written a new Constitution for the Faculty. This involves the appointment of an Honorary Secretary to the new Executive Committee. Applications for the post of Honorary Secretary are invited from current FST Associates, Members and Fellows. The Constitution and Standing Orders of the Faculty state that 'the Honorary Secretary shall be an Associate, Member or Fellow of the Faculty and shall be appointed to the Executive Committee for an initial period of three years.'

Applicants must be in good standing with both their College and the Faculty.

A job description is available from the Chief Executive’s office. Interested Associates, Members and Fellows are asked to submit an application on a form available from the Chief Executive’s Office: i.macdonald@rcsed.ac.uk or call 0131 527 1664 to request a form. The appointment shall be made following an interview process.
