The theme of the 2019 ICOSET conference will be To Treat, To Teach, To Train: Exploring Professionalisation, Regulation and Excellence in Surgical Training.
The conference will be held 21-22 March 2019 and will explore themes including:
> Should all surgeons be trainers?
> How much training do you need to be a trainer?
> How do we inspire the next generation of trainers?
> Should surgical trainers be regulated?
The role of the surgical trainer will be central to the conference and we shall debate crucial issues related to training. The conference will comprise plenary sessions, breakout sessions and workshops. Join us and network with world leaders in surgical education and training and have your say in shaping the future for surgical trainers.
A call for abstracts and workshops will be announced on this website soon.
