The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh will be hosting a meeting at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital from 6pm to 9.15pm on Thursday 12 March 2015.
The RCSEd’s Faculty of Surgical Trainers’ (FST) Director Craig McIlhenny will focus on the Faculty’s Standards for Surgical Trainers and the meeting will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore preparation for educator recognition, the use of Standards for Surgical Trainers, and a valuable forum for feedback, discussion and debate on issues affecting the surgical community.
Associate Dean of Health Education North West (HENW) Andy Jones will also explore HENW and Local Education Training Board (LETB)'s view on the recognition of trainers.
